Exercise is a key ingredient to your best life recipe, in fact I often refer to it as a superpower. I was a sporty youngster but as I got older that diminished, I never realised how important it was to keep your body moving. Many years later and with 3 tamariki in tow, I found myself at a low point. My sister dragged me along to a boot camp one day and after the initial burn, I could start feeling the good feels flowing through my body again and life started to look a lot better.
It’s about connecting and growing mentally and spiritually, just as much as physically for me, it’s how I meditate, a moment out of our busy lives to focus entirely on me. With all I had learnt on my journey with health and fitness was the reason I studied to become a Personal Trainer, so I could share this superpower and watch others grow and have them feeling good about themselves, like I did way back when I did that first boot camp class. There are so many different modalities out there now there is definitely something to suit anyone’s wants and needs.
Qualifications: Cert 4 in Personal Training, Certified ZUU Coach - Level 1 & 2, Certified ANKORR Coach
