Leave your pride at the door, you are here to learn
ALL students must wear the correct CLEAN uniform for gi and no-gi classes - a dirty gi is a sign of disrespect
Keep your nails/toenails short at all times
Greet instructor and classmates when entering/exiting the mats
NEVER walk on the mats with your shoes. EVER
Students who are late to class should sit by the mats and wait for permission from the Professor to enter the mats
Students who need to leave early or leave the mats must ask permission from the Professor before exiting the mats
If using the toilets, shoes must be worn to and from and taken off before you enter the mats
Remove all jewellery before class
No coaching from the sidelines, no talking through class, questions are welcome at the end of class
Absolutely NO bragging about submissions during class
No phones, water or food on the mats, bags are to be stored in cubbies provided
Be a good training partner and respect your fellow classmates
If you have the flu, a cold or a contagious illness, please stay at home and treat before you return to the mats
Absolutely no foul language on the mats
